But now in my mid 20s it all seem just no moew than words. All my life I lived my the principles & rules my mother tought about having routines, being regular, responsible & respecting. But as it seems now I've wasted my years in trying to be what those principles have made me. The reason is that not any of those could get me my father's attention & appriciation. Other girls who lived with no principles or values or any respect for routines & regularities & responsibilites always seemed to be favoured, favourite-ised over me. as a teenager I thought my good values & karma will give me atleast a good married life so not having my dad's attention didnt hurt that much. but today about over 2 years into a marriage it just seems going worse. The hurt of not having been valued by my father hurts even more & feels that if he'd given me more attention my be my husband did as well. but yet i see other girls less intelegent & responsible than me liveing a more loved & cared life than me. It is a hard lesson when the people we trust the most let us down and use us for their own advantage. One of the comforts we can take from that is the lesson learnt: We will never let someone do that to us again! I wish you strength and fortune in your future and hope you feel you have more control over your life. It is only you that can change your life for the better – only you have the power and control. Mostly I want things for my life and if i was angry/upset with others (which does happen sometimes) rather than wish them harm I would like it if they admitted their wrong and apologised and tried to put it right. One instance was a boyfriend i had who got me to take out a loan and then cleared off and stopped the loan payments into my bank account which made my already dire financial situation much worse. It would be a great comfort if he posted me a cheque for £5,000 but alas people like him dont do that. I often lay awake worrying about my life and how sad it makes me feel that most of it has gone and i am not living the way I would like to, and there is very little pleasure or happiness or fullfillment or satisfaction in my life... :-(:-?
